Pick Up Sticks and Language Art – A Great Collaboration

Greg and Dilynn with Glena and Sabrina

One of the major benefits of being part of Pick Up Sticks is that we get to meet artists and designers from all over the world. In one incredible instance, we not only met some great new friends; we also had the chance to collaborate with artists who create a beautiful product.

Greg and Dilynn Puckett of Language Art had a booth next to us at the Chicago market in 2007, and as it often goes at market, we became immediate pals in the five days we spent as neighbors. We brought in coffee, Greg sometimes brought us lunch. They shared restaurant recommendations, we told them about other shows they should consider. We bought their sign art, they bought photo charms.

We saw them again in Chicago in January, and talked them into going to Atlanta for the summer show. Finally, after several seasons in the same aisle at market, we put our heads together and decided that Greg’s amazing photos would make great alphabet photo charms for them to sell. Now they have their own line of charms – and they’re selling very well!

Language Art Charms

We asked Dilynn to put her Pick Up Sticks experience into her own words. Here’s what she has to say:

We met the Pick Up Sticks girls at the first show that we ever did back in July of 2007 in Chicago. I fell in love with their jewelry right away and purchased several pieces. Two years later, we are so honored to have them manufacturing our photo charms! We love working with them and our customers love the charms! They are a really nice fit with our wall art line, and our expressions line. We love the girls, every one of them! It’s so nice to be working with them, and we look forward to seeing them in January and July every year at the shows.”

If you’re interested in finding Language Art charms, you can find them at www.languageartonline.com or at (574) 202-8183. Or somewhere close to us at the Atlanta market. We’d love to introduce you!
