Wedding Season at Pick Up Sticks

Candace and her new engagement ring

For those of you who missed it on Facebook, it’s wedding season at Pick Up Sticks!  Candace from the studio is engaged, and so is Glena’s son Cameron.

And this weekend is Pick Up Sticks girl wedding shopping in Albuquerque for the big events.  I’m suspecting the weekend will involve just a few margaritas at Sadie’s, maybe some green chile spinach enchiladas at El Patio off Central (Sabrina and Bunny’s favorite!), gourmet pizza and fried artichokes from Mario’s, cocktails on the patio at Sabrina’s, coffee at Java Joe’s, sweet potato fries from Kelly’s Bar and Grill, draft beer from O’Neill’s Pub, burritos from Dos Hermanos. . . And maybe some shopping.  Okay – lots of shopping in between the eating and drinking.  When the Pick Up Sticks girls get together it’s usually an excuse for lots of great conversation, great food and drinks, and lots of fun.

Stay tuned early next week for photos from the weekend.  There may even be a new photo charm that comes out of this adventure!
